NEPI Beta Program

Apply to beta test our new software container before public release.

The NEPI Software Container is a ready-to-run environment for AI and automation development. It packages NEPI’s drivers, AI frameworks, and automation tools into a portable container that runs consistently across different devices. Because the environment is pre-configured, installation, deployment, and updates are simple.

Think of it like a ready-made toolkit: instead of buying every tool separately and figuring out how they fit together, you get a single box with all the right tools already organized and ready to use. Just open it up, and you can get to work right away. This reduces setup time, reduces complexity, and helps projects to move forward faster.

NEPI software has already been proven in real-world projects, the new NEPI Container takes these same capabilities and makes them even easier to deploy.

If you’re new to NEPI Software, visit www.nepi.com to access resources including documentation, tutorials, and videos that explain how NEPI simplifies and accelerates AI and automation development.

We are currently inviting companies to apply for beta testing of the new NEPI Software Container. Participants receive a free software license to test the container in real-world projects while providing feedback on performance, usability, and features. Your input will directly help us refine NEPI and ensure it meets industry needs, and you will benefit from early access to powerful tools to accelerate your own projects.

What You’ll Get:

  • A free NEPI software license for beta testing
  • Early access to new container features before public release
  • Direct support and feedback opportunities with the Numurus engineering team
  • A chance to influence the future of NEPI with your input

Ideal candidates for the beta testing are companies and organizations in science, industry, defense, and education that have projects using hardware such as NVIDIA Jetson or similar edge-compute devices and want to accelerate development with NEPI. The software has already been applied across diverse projects in these fields, helping teams integrate AI and automation quickly and effectively. The new NEPI Software Container makes these benefits even easier to access.

Requirements:

    • Active Project Use: Applicants should have an active or planned project where NEPI can be used, with the beta software installed through the new container.
    • Hardware Readiness: Must have compatible edge hardware (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson or other Linux-based GPU devices) available for testing used in the project.
    • Feedback Commitment: Agree to provide structured feedback (e.g., surveys, short reports, or calls) within 30–60 days of receiving the software container.
    • Technical Capacity: At least one engineer, researcher, or student team able to install and run the container
    • Technical Contact: Assign at least one team member as the primary point of contact for installation, testing, and feedback.
    • Non-Disclosure/Use Limitation: Use the beta software container for evaluation only, not in production environments or for redistribution.
    • Willingness to Share Use Case (optional): Be open to sharing a case study or testimonial once the beta concludes (with approval).

NEPI has been applied across a wide range of AI and automation use cases, helping teams connect sensors, detect important events, and act automatically in the field. Common application examples include:

    • Tracking: Ships, drones, or search-and-rescue targets using cameras, sonar, GPS/INS, and robotic systems
    • Monitoring: Safety compliance, environmental conditions, or fish farms with automated alerts, alarms, and data collection
    • Inspection: Infrastructure, welds, tanks, wind turbines, and subsea assets with cameras, lasers, ultrasound, and robotic platforms
    • Sensing: Real-time data collection and analysis from cameras, sonar, lights, and other edge sensors

These application areas demonstrate how NEPI can accelerate AI-enabled projects across fields such as science, industry, defense, and education. With the new NEPI Software Container, deploying these solutions becomes even faster and easier.

NEPI Container Beta Application

Companies interested in using NEPI and testing it’s new software container can apply here to join the beta program, gaining free and early access to the software in exchange for feedback.

Enter name of the person who will serve as the main contact for the beta program. This should be someone directly involved with the project and able to coordinate feedback with Numurus.
